Kazuya Taguchi

is a professional drift driver from Tokyo, Japan. He began his drifting career in 2007 and quickly made a name for himself in the Japanese drift scene. He competed in several events in Japan, including the D1 Grand Prix, and was known for his aggressive driving style and precise technique.

In 2019, Kazuya made his debut in the Formula Drift Pro series as a driver for Jerry Yang Racing. He drove a specially-built S15 Silvia that was designed and fabricated by Jerry Yang and his team. Kazuya quickly proved himself as a top contender, finishing the 2020 season in a 3-way tie for the 9th-11th position.

For the 2023 Formula Drift season, Kazuya will continue to drive for Jerry Yang Racing, but in a Toyota GT86. He is known for his consistency and precision on the track, as well as his ability to push the limits of his car while maintaining control. Off the track, Kazuya is known for his humble personality and his dedication to the sport of drifting.
